How to migrate from Qubely to Roobely (step by step)

You can move a Qubely site to Roobely without rebuilding it. Install Roobely and Roobely Pro, and Roobely Pro converts your Qubely and Qubely Pro blocks to Roobely blocks automatically, keeping their content and styling. Before you start
Check these four things first:
- A full backup of your site (files and database).
- A Roobely Pro license. See Roobely pricing: Pro $59 a year, Pro Unlimited $149 a year, Lifetime $589 one-time.
- WordPress 6.1 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
- Admin access to your WordPress dashboard.
The 8 steps
Follow these in order.

Back up your site
Make a full backup of your files and database before you change any plugins.

Get Roobely Pro
Choose a plan to get your Roobely Pro license key. The automatic conversion needs Roobely Pro.

Deactivate Qubely
In WordPress, go to Plugins and deactivate Qubely and Qubely Pro. Don’t delete them yet.

Install Roobely and Roobely Pro
Install and activate the latest versions of both plugins. Roobely Free must stay installed alongside Pro.

Activate your license
Enter your Roobely Pro license key to unlock all blocks and styles.

Refresh and check your pages
Hard refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R) and view your pages to check that your content and styling came across.

Check the editor
Open a page in the editor. If you see an Attempt Block Recovery message, click it. Your content and links are kept.

Remove Qubely
Once everything looks right, delete Qubely and Qubely Pro.

After you migrate
Most sites need nothing more. If something looks off:
- Styles look wrong: go to Roobely → Advanced Settings, change Header Loading Option to File System, save and refresh.
- Block recovery message in the editor: click Attempt Block Recovery. Your content and links are kept.
- An unsupported block: this is rare. We provide guidance or manual adjustment steps.
