Qubely Alternative
The Qubely alternative that keeps your existing pages
Last updated:
Qubely is no longer maintained, but you don’t have to rebuild your site. Roobely is an actively maintained fork of Qubely, and Roobely Pro converts your existing Qubely blocks (including Qubely Pro blocks) to Roobely blocks automatically, keeping their content and styling. Most sites are fully switched in under 30 minutes. If you’d rather hand it off, we’ll do it for you for $299.
Why Qubely sites need an alternative
Themeum announced in October 2023 that it was sunsetting Qubely. The Qubely listing on WordPress.org shows version 1.8.14 from March 10, 2025, tested only up to WordPress 6.7, with a notice that it hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress.
That leaves Qubely sites without fixes as WordPress and PHP move on. If your Qubely blocks already show errors or broken styling, see Qubely not working? Common errors and fixes.
What Roobely gives a Qubely site
Roobely started as a fork of the original Qubely plugin, so it works the way your Qubely pages already do.
- Actively maintained. Roobely gets regular updates and fixes, and is tested up to WordPress 7.1.
- Roobely Free: 29 blocks, free on WordPress.org.
- Roobely Pro: 15 Pro blocks plus the automatic Qubely to Roobely conversion, including Qubely Pro blocks.
- No rebuild. Converted blocks keep their content and styling, so your pages look the way they did.
- Requirements: WordPress 6.1 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
